JOBY NAIL ART: Decal Review & GIVEAWAY!

A little something out of my norm today, but still fun! Plus a little somethin' somethin' for ya'll at the end!

JOBY NA09-38 Signature Collection - Skulls & Cherries
Today I have a review of JOBY Nail Art Stickers. I have heard of JOBY Nail Art before and I even own some 4th of July decals, I've just never got around to using them! Hop on over for a review, swatches and a little giveaway ;]

Here's a close up of the cute decals I was sent to review:

JOBY NA09-38 Signature Collection - Skulls & Cherries

I really like the variety of decals JOBY offers! They're not the regular floral-esque decals you see in the drugstores. Of course, if you like those - they have them too! They have everything from holiday, to floral, to puppies and playboy bunnies! It's refreshing to see something a little out of the box when it comes to nail decals.

The application is easy:

I think the hardest part for me was getting the little decal off the paper. I think next time I'll use an orange stick or a pin to lift it off, I ruffled some of the edges in the process. OOPS!

Pretty little decal! Is anyone else loving the glitter as much as I am!? :] It's the little things that count haha

I put these decals over a shade of black to make them pop:

I added a coat of Butter London Hardwear, as the instructions suggest. Once the top coat was added, I couldn't even feel these when I ran my finger over my nail! They lay SO flat! I really like that once the top coat is applied, the "sticker part" is almost hidden and all you see is the design. I also like how detailed the designs are, just look at the skull!

I used my normal remover, Cutex Advanced Revival, to remove the polish and decals. What I found most interesting about these decals is that they remove differently than other decals I've used in the past. USUALLY, when I remove decals I have to scrub, or pry the decal off because it is stuck on there so good. This decal seemed to act like polish when it was removed. I thought it was cool! (dork)

You can find more information on JOBY Nail Art nail stickers on their website, here. The sheets are $2.99 each. They offer free shipping in the US when you spend $25 or when you spend $35 internationally. Also check out their Facebook page and Twitter for promos, ideas and more!

And yes, I said I had something special for you! Here's a little giveaway to get your holiday season pumping!

You could win JOBY Nail Art Christmas Stickers and a 10% off coupon, all compliments of JOBY Nail Art. I wanted to sweeten the deal a little more. I added 2 Hit Polishes, that I purchased for you guys, in Reggae and Fiesta! One kinda Christmas-y one and one for New Years! :]

  2. These are GREAT to use on children too! When my 7 year old daughter sees me manicuring my nails and she wants in on the fun, I can always put stickers on her and she's totally happy!
