Zoya Magical PixieDust Collection (L->R) Cosmo, Vega, and Lux

Nothing like a bunch of glitter to brighten anyone's mid week hump! ;] As you can see I have the 3 Magical PixieDust polishes from Zoya to review for you today. I don't know about you, but I was super stoked when the press release came out! Check out my swatches and my thoughts after the jump.

Ladies and gents, can we take time to notice there are FREAKIN HOLO AND IRIDESCENT (did I just spell that word right on the first try?!) HEXES IN THERE?! They ain't your normal, run of the mill metallic hex glitters. Oh no, no, no, no.

Zoya Cosmo is a "silver crystal sparkle, textured PixieDust with mega hex iridescent particles". This isn't your mama's PixieDust polish. Zoya sure did go all out with this trio!  If you want glitz and glamour - this is the polish for you. FOSHO.

I did 3 coats of Cosmo. The application was smooth and easy to apply. I did wait between coats, like I usually do with textured polishes to avoid slipping/bald spots. Dry time was fine. No real complaints here.

I think this was my favorite of the 3, I think. Vega is a "blue opal sparkle, textured PixieDust with Mega Hex Iridescent Particles". I really liked the light blue color of this polish, although I'm still waiting for a nice and bright cobalt Pixie Dust *hint, hint, nudge, nudge Zoya* I digress - The iridescent and holo glitter  really make these polishes, I was worried about them being too much for me. Nope, they rock.

I did 2 coats of Vega. Application was again smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was again without issues when waiting between coats. No complaints for me.

Zoya Lux

Lux is a "rose quartz sparkle textured PixieDust with mega hex iridescent particles". I don't know why but this kind of reminds me of OPI Teenage Dream. I like how this is almost a subtle kind of glitzy textured polish.  Like, I'd feel comfortable wearing this to a job interview.

I did 3 coats of Lux, I probably could of done 2 but I couldn't tell by the color if it needed 3 or not haha. Again no issues with the application dry time, when waiting between coats.

Overall: I really like the sparkle effect of these polishes. I think I need to wear them for a few days to decide if I 100% like them hahah. I love them, but I'm not sure if they're for me? The applications for these were a lot better than I thought they would be. I also think these are slightly more textured than the regular Pixie Dusts.
