Nail Art Inspired by Kristin Nohe's Donuts on Blue

Kristin Nohe's Spoonflower

I'm not the most creative person in this world, but I do follow and love the work of many other creative people! I've been following Kristin Nohe for 2-3 years on Instagram. She works as an designer for Target and does other little creative, fancy design things on the side. I love her work, it's so cute and quirky!

Spoonflower is an online store that allows you to create your own fabric, or at least that's what I think it is. :P They were having a free swatch sale a few days ago, and I decided - why the hell not. I ordered a swatch of Kristin's Donuts on Blue. What am I going to do with it? IDK. Admire it for it's cuteness? I have a lot of fabric that I have because it's cute... and I have no idea what to do with it - but that's besides the point!

THAT is the point. I really had an itch to recreate her design on my nails. So I did it, last night, on a whim. Obviously it's not perfect or identical to her design, but I think it's adorable :] Plus who doesn't like donuts?! (If you don't, just keep it to yourself. I'm sorry for your soul :[ ). I used China Glaze Kinetic Candy for the base and used various polishes from Zoya, along with mixing my own colors using Zoya polishes to create this mani.

What do you think?! You can find more of Kristin's stuff here (Spoonflower), here (Etsy), and here (website).

Hope you have a fab day!
