Happy FRIDAY! I have the 2nd part of my review of the Scriptures Collection by SuperChic Lacquer. This collection is made up of 8 multi-chrome flakie polishes that have the versatility of being worn alone or layered over your favorite color.  If you missed the other 4 polishes I reviewed, you can find them here! This collection launches later today so check out the rest of the collection after the jump :]

This is On a Wing and a Prayer. Talk about a gorgeous mix of color! In this polish you can find green to violet shifting metallic flakies and purple glitter and matte lilac glitter. Reminds me of flowers and spring time.

I did 2 coats of On a Wing and a Prayer alone and 1 coat over Barielle Designer's Shoes on my ring finger. Great glitter coverage per coat and packed with glitter. No complaints about application or dry time.

Crown of Thorns is a gold to copper shifting metallic flakie mixed with metallic red glitter and coral matte glitter. This is quite an awesome polish. The colors are great and the depth it creates is awesome. I didn't think I'd like this one, but after putting it on I really enjoyed it.

I did 2 coats of Crown of Thorns alone and 1 coat over China Glaze Sailor Boy on my ring finger. Another glitter polish packed with glitter. This one makes wearing alone super easy. For all the glitter packed in this bottle, the application was smooth.

Quickening is a pretty mix of color! You can find some metallic green and purple flakies, metallic red glitter and sky blue matte glitter. The sky blue glitter is a nice touch in this polish.

I did 3 coats of Quickening alone and 2 coats over Essie Mind Your Mittens. This one was a little less packed with glitter than the other polishes above, but easy to build up.  I actually prefer this one layered, just looks nicer to me :] No problems with dry time.

Last but not least is In the Twinkling of an Eye. This is my favorite one in this post. In the Twinkling of an Eye is a royal blue to purple shifting metallic flakie mixed with metallic blue glitter and matte white glitter. I mean how could you NOT love these glitters together?! So gorgeous and serene.

I did 2 coats of In the Twinkling of an Eye alone and 1 coat over Salon Perfect Sugar Cube. Again, packed with a ton of glitter with an easy to apply formula. No issues with dry time either.

  1. I really want to like these, maybe with a gallon of top coat or layered, but after seeing 5 different bloggers' swatches I just keep settling on how patchy and lumpy looking they are. I am hoping when it's IRL, with light and movement it is seamless and so blingy you don't see all the stuff still photography reveals. And I love textures, what gives!?
