Pure Ice [L->R] Shell Pink, Peony, After Hours, Free Fall,
Rumors, Purple Traitor, Playful Purple, and Risk Taker

Today, I have the Purce Ice Head to Meadow Collection for Spring 2017. There are 25 shades in this collection and today I have 8 to share with you! I love Pure Ice polish because they have nice formulas and are less than $2. I have some pretty Spring pinks, purples, and a metallic polish after the jump, check them out :]

Just a heads up: I'm not sure about the other colors in this collection, but the ones I am swatching aren't new releases. It's always nice to revisit colors though!

Pure Ice Shell Pink

Shell pink is a super, duper light (nearly white) pink cream polish. I like this polish as an alternative to a white manicure. It's nice and clean without being too stark. I did 3 coats of Sheer Pink. It was a little on the patchy side with the application... I could of went for a 4th coat, but I draw the line at 3. Dry time was okay, it wasn't quick.

Pure Ice Peony
Pure Ice Peony

Peony is a bright, Barbie pink cream with subtle silver shimmer running throughout. While this shade of pink isn't too unique, I like how bright it is! It's the perfect pink for a sunny Spring afternoon. I did 2 coats of Peony. It had a nice smooth and opaque formula. Can't complain about dry time, it was awesome :]

Pure Ice After Hours
Pure Ice After Hours

Next up is After Hours, a hot, neon pink with iridescent micro flakies. I LOVE this shade of pink. It's in your face in the best way possible :P The biggest let down were the flakies. They look awesome in the bottle, but on your nail, they really get drowned. It was even difficult for me to get a macro shot. I did 2 coats of After Hours. I was impressed this was opaque in 2 coats for how neon it is. No drying issues.

Pure Ice Free Fall
Pure Ice Free Fall

Free Fall is a highly pigmented hot pink with a bluish shimmer in just the right light.  The shimmer almost makes the polish look florescent! While I probably have a few similar polishes already, I still really like this one! :] I did 2 coats of Free Fall, once again, happily surprised that it was so opaque. No application issues. It was nice and smooth and easily to build up. No problems with dry time.

Pure Ice Rumors

Rumors is a rich reddish mauve cream. This is my favorite color in the collection, so classy! This is a shade that you can wear all year round, it'll never go out of style. I think it would look great on most skin tones as well. I did 2 coats of Rumors. It had a nice smooth cream formula that applies nicely and evenly. While the formula is opaque, it was on the thinner side which allowed for a quick dry time. 10 out of 10 would recommend this polish!

Pure Ice Purple Traitor

Purple Traitor is a flawless, medium purple creme polish. If you're in need of a good purple nail polish at a great price, I suggest picking this one up. It's a great color for both Spring and Summer. I did 2 coats of Purple Traitor. It had the same formula as Rumors, a smooth opaque formula slightly on the thinner side, allowing for a quick dry time. Loving it!

Pure Ice Playful Purple

Playful Purple is a medium periwinkle purple creme polish. Not my favorite color in the collection, it brings out the redness in my hands a little much, but maybe someone else will love this color! I id 2 coats of Playful Purple. Again, not a single thing to complain about with this formula: easy to apply, opaque, and dries quickly.

Pure Ice Risk Taker
Pure Ice Risk Taker
Last but not least is Risk Taker, a shimmery grey-brown metallic polish. Look at that macro! :D While not a great color for me, I do enjoy this shade and the finish of this polish.  I bet this would be awesome with a black maxi dress for a Summer night out! I did 3 coats of Risk Taker. The coats were a bit sheer but easy to build up. Dry time was alright, I recommend waiting between coats.
