[CLOSED] MOON SUGAR: Nail Decals Review [+Giveaway 12/18-1/1/14]

Hi guys! I said on Facebook I have something special to share with you today. Well, here it is. I was sent a few water slide decals by Moon Sugar to review for ya'll. They have over 150 different designs to choose from, let me show you the ones I've received!

Moon Sugar Nail Decals

I received 2 different sugar skull decals along with some breast cancer awareness ribbons!

The instructions I received are pretty straight forward, I broke down the instructions via picture:

1) Cut the decal to fit your nails, I chose to cut it down as much as possible.
2) Bathe the decal in some warm water, allow it to curl and then straighten out before removing from the paper.
3) Peel the decal off the paper (I use tweezers).
4) Apply to your nail (Again, I use tweezers to place).
5) Apply top coat.

These are the manicures I did with the decals I was sent!

Red Rose Sugar Nail Decal over Zoya Pippa

I placed the decal over Zoya Pippa as an accent nail. The rest of the nails, I free handed some yellow and pink flowers to match the ones on the skull.

Pink sugar skull and Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Decals

I placed both the pink sugar skull and the breast cancer awareness ribbon over a white base. I used Zoya Tinsley stamped with a Vivid Lacquer chevron stamp over a black, and Zoya Miranda on my pinky!

My overall review: I really enjoy water decals, they've been my favorite since I first tried them earlier this year. I do like the variety of decals and the details in the images. They are quite easy to use, anyone could use them! The awareness ribbon lies more flat on the nail than either of the skull decals. I had issues with the skull decals sticking up at some points around the edges. Even when I placed a layer of top coat over them, they were still sticking up a bit for me :-\ It isn't noticeable from a hands length, but if you're like me it might rock your OCD a bit hahaha. I honestly think it has to do with the curvature in my nails though.
