Forget Me Not Friday (Saturday Edition) - Hare Polish Regency Miss & Londontown Purple Reign

Hey guys! Still trying to adjust to this whole "having a full time job and find time to swatch" thing so forgive my day late post :P I'm super excited to share these two polishes from Hare Polish and Londontown Lakur with you. Congrats, you made it to FRIDAY! And I made it to Forget Me Not Friday, yay me! I don't purchase much indie polish anymore (I gotta get the storage sitch figured out haha) but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for some Hare Polish. This I'm reviewing today is Archipelago 2.0. When I discovered Hare Polish before their "comeback", Archipelago was the ONE polish I knew I had to have so I was STOKED when 2.0 was made. Check it out below!

Hare Polish Archipelago 2.0

(For reference, here's a Polishaholic swatch of the original Archipelago). As you can see Archipelago has a more complicated look to it than the original, love it just the same. 2.0 is a "blue/teal jelly with copper hexes and squares, plus copper shimmer!" What's not to love about that freakin' color contrast? It's AWESOME. The newly added shimmer and squares give 2.0 a little more depth, which is what we're used to with Hare Polish.

I did 3 coats of Archipelago 2.0. Application of the jelly was nice, easy to apply. This polish was easy to build up to opacity. Longer nails will need more coats to kill VNL, of course. One thing I love about Hare Polish jellies: They don't take 10 years to dry.

At the moment, Archipelago 2.0 is sold out in her Etsy shop (haven't checked other etailers, I'm lazy LOL), but stay tuned to her Facebook if you're wanting this polish!

Forget Me Not Friday: HARE POLISH - Down the West Coast

CONGRATULATIONS! You made it to Friday! :P It's once again, Forget Me Not Friday - the post where I grab something out of my never ending basket of untrieds haha. This week I have Hare Polish Down the West Coast to share with you. It's been a few months since I swatched a Hare, so lets' chance that haha. Check it out down below!

Hare Polish Down the West Coast

This polish is from the VIVA LOS ANGELES Collection from last year. Down the West Coast is a "rosy pink jelly with more of a 'marbled' effect", it also has "blue flakies, gold flakies & gold shimmer!" Marble and granite is exactly what I thought of! My husband has a bowling ball that has this same kind of effect to it. While the glitter is obviously suspended in the base, they are nearly one when it comes to this polish. I don't find this polish to be a jelly... more of a crelly.

I did 3 coats of Down the West Coast. Although the polish is packed with tons of flakies, it had a nice smooth application. It was easy to work with and gave me no issues. Dry time was great and very quick. I had to head out the door right after I swatched it, no time for Seche Vite, and I didn't even mess it up :P

So there you have it! I thought this polish was very unique and fun without punching you in the face. I really liked the "marbled" effect with the flakies. What do you think? :]

Happy Friday! Today I have something special to show you. I often get asked what my favorite indie polish brand is, and today I get to share it with you. To me, Hare Polish puts out super unique polish mixes with great applications. Obviously, if you look in my tags there's only 1 tag for Hare Polish. I kinda hoard them and keep them to myself, I probably have like 6-7 I haven't swatched lmfao. I treat them like my children, it's kinda sad hahahah.
