Lively in Lilac and Green with Ivy

If you haven't heard already, Sinful Colors polishes (including Sinful Shine) are on sale at Walgreen's for 99 cents once again! I figured I'd swatchy swatchy the polishes I picked up last 99 cent sale :] Check out my swatch/review after the jump!

Starry Night is a black jelly base with tiny square holo silver glitters, shreds, silver bar, and red glitter scattered throughout. I'm not big on black polish on me, but I really like this one. Really different from your typical black creme polish. I did 2 coats of Starry Night. Thankfully this jelly was easy to build up and dry time was no problem. Application was a breeze.

One multicolored metallic glitter topper is NEVER enough! And one for 99 cents? Hell yeah! This is Pride, which has a metallic mixture of gold, silver, blue, green, red, and fuchsia glitter. Instant party on your nails. I did 2 coats of Pride over Zoya Edie. Application was fine, without issues. The 2nd coat did seem a little more base-y than the 1st. I probably should of shook the bottle a little :P No dry time issues.

Embers Only is a pinkish red jelly base with gold and fuchsia glass fleck and silver hex. Super pretty and sparkly without being in your face or too overwhelming. I'm still undecided if I like this one or not. It's pretty but I'm just not sure if it's for me. I did 2 coats of Embers Only. No issues with application and dry time was great.

So every time I went to a drug store I passed this up, clearly by the swatch it was totally worth picking up! Lively in Lilac is a grape colored jelly base with bronze, purple and pink glitter. It's so sparkly and squishy, its LOVELY! This is my favorite of all the ones I picked up. I did 3 coats of Lively in Lilac. After the 1st coat I was worried, but it built up really nicely. You can always layer, too! Dry time was pretty good, too :]

Here's another one I can't decide on! This is Green with Ivy, I believe this was a Walgreen's exclusive (?), it is a super sheer teal base with gold and silver tiny hexes and bar glitter. While I love the idea of this polish, its so incredibly sheer. I was hoping it would build up like Lively in Lilac, nope. The base is incredibly base-y and thin. Almost too thin to pick up a lot of glitter. I love the glitter mix I just wish the base was thicker to pull out more glitter! I did 2 coats of Green with Ivy over Square Hue Nantucket. I would of done more coats but I didn't want it to be thick on my nail. I'd wait between coats to ensure dry time.

I think Starry Night and Pride are part of the Core Collection, so hopefully those are easy to find. The rest were released during early this summer, but I have seen stocked summer displays still up at my Walgreens. Don't forget the 99 cent Sinful Colors/Shine sale goes on through Saturday 8/23!

Have a great evening!
