Today is the first part of a two part review of Shimmer Polish. You guys know I love my Indie polish! And glitter bomb Indie polish just makes the world 100x better!

Swatches and review after le jump!

I've seen a few Shimmer polish swatches floating around the interwebs never got the chance to get my paws on them. Let me stun you, with a simple bottle shot:

Since matte glitter seems to be the big thing amongst Indie brands, it's nice to see a glitter bomb like this every now and then :] Let me feed you some swatches!

The first thing I think of when I finished top coating Caroline was - "DIVAAAAAAA"! Yeah, I don't know haha but IF I was to have a totally divalicious party or something, I'd go with this polish. There are SO many colors of glitter in this polish I can't even name them all. The color is predominantly a grape-y purple but, you can see the different colors of glitter pretty well though. The glitter mix is a mix of super fine glitter. You can see colors of purple, iridescent with green and blue flashes, red, and gold.

I did 3 coats, you could get away with 2, over Zoya Carley. It dried a lot smoother than I thought it would but it was thirsty for a top coat. I did 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite. I was surprised that the application was as SMOOTH as it was for being packed with glitter in 1 coat, it wasn't lumpy or thick at all.

Next is Liana:

This polish reminded me of a galaxy! I like how this polish is darker but the sparkle really makes it LIGHT UP! Again like Caroline, it's hard for me to tell ALL the glitter in this polish but I totally see some teal blue, holo silver, red and possibly some black and purple. It does have kind of a charcoal colored base.

Liana had the same super smooth, glitter packed application. I did 3 coats, could of went with 2, over China Glaze First Mate. I did again, 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite because of how thirsty this polish looks once it dries. This one dried a LOT less rough than Caroline did, but it never hurts to add a top coat :]

You can find Shimmer Polish on Etsy! Her polishes are a little on the steep side for an Indie polish, at $12/bottle, but I'd say it's worth every penny for these glitters. You can also visit her Facebook page, here.

Have a great day, everyone! Stick around for part 2 next week!
