Whiter Shade of Pale, Sugar Town and Wish Upon a Star

Happy Friday, guys! YOU MADE IT. Today I have some super fun polishes from Killer Queen Varnish, yet again. These aren't part of a collection, but they are pretty fun :] If you missed yesterday's post of Sommer's Fall Collection - check it out here. If you already saw it READ ON, READERS!

FALL IN A FREAKINNNN BOTTLE! This is These Boots, a "orange hex, caramel hex, bronze square, and micro orange hexes in a chocolate brown base". Love this so much. There's so much glitter and against the base, layered, so much depth is created. And it's amazing.

I did 2 coats of These Boots, plus top coat. There's a crapton and a half of glitter in this polish, which made the application a little "sticky", but with a little patience you end up with an awesome mani. Dry time gave me no issues.

Dust in the Wind is a "golden shimmered pale grey jelly polish". This is such a nice neutral shade with some stunning golden shimmer. Another great alternative to a pure white nail polish for those (like me) who's hands look strange with white polish on. Lovin' it.

I did 3 coats of Dust in the Wind plus top coat. I didn't have the easiest time with this polish, I feel like it calls for a ton of patience - which I don't have LOL. I was having a hard time making this appear even. Not to mention, every time I applied another coat it dragged the coat(s) underneath. It took me 2 times to get this to look perfect haha but I think it was worth the work I put into it. Next time, I think I'd layer it over a white or nude polish to cut down the work haha. I think I made it look pretty even in the end? What do you think?

This is a Whiter Shade of Pale, a "pale nude crelly with a delicate silver shimmer".  This reminds me of a super softer version of Zoya Jacqueline, which is one of my favorite polishes.  Such a great, neutral, palette cleansing polish. I love the pearly silver shimmer, too. It adds a nice delicate touch.

I did 3 coats of a Whiter Shade of Pale, plus top coat. AHH yes, a perfect formula. Super smooth to apply, easy to make even and build up. No issues with this one :] Dry time, I have no complaints.

Next up is Sugar Town! Sugar Town is a glitter topper with "lavender flower glitter, matte pastel blue dots, matte pastel green hex, and matte pastel pink and green micro hex".  Super cute and girly! It also looks great with a Whiter Shade of Pale :]

I did 2 coats of Sugar Town over a Whiter Shade of Pale, plus top coat. Application was smooth, easy to work with. I did have to fish for a few flowers, but that's to be expected. No issues to report ;] Dry time was also great with no issues.

Wish Upon a Star a polish packed with "matte baby blue micro hexes, blue iridescent hex, small holographic silver stars and Mickey Mouse glitter". Don't mind the different brush cap, I got a wonky brush, luckily I had one on hand haha. Sommer is workin' on replacing mine ASAP :] This polish is super sparkly and magical. I think it's the perfect representation of Wish Upon a Star in my head. I love the baby stars in the mix too. Too cute!

I did 2 coats of Wish Upon a Star over China Glaze Secret Peri-Winkle, plus top coat. It was a little thick for my taste, which is probably because there is 2 and a half craptons of glitter in this tiny bottle LOL. I added a little thinner and it applied like a dream. I did have to fish out the Mickeys, but that always happens so whatever. No issues with dry time to report, captain!
