Born Pretty Store Purple Nail Art Brush Ongle Liner

Good afternoon, ladies and gents! I was in the market for some new detailing brushes (especially since my order from someone on eBay fell through -.-) when Born Pretty Store asked me to review for them again. Lucky me, they had some brushes on the list!

A few months ago a friend and I went to an art and wine class! The painting we did was a take on Monet's Water Lilies. It was fun, easy to do and I was in love with the colors! Soooo I decided to replicate the painting on my nails :]

I love the crazy amounts of color and how easy this manicure is to do. The brushes have nice, tight bristles that make it easy to add the tiniest of details. In the set there are small, medium, and large liner brushes. With the differences in size you can create many different looks! I typically use liner brushes with the elongated bristles to do all of my nail art. Shorter bristles are so much easier to control when adding details! I recommend this set to anyone who's looking for a decent, inexpensive set of detailing brushes :]

If you're looking to replicate this, it's way easy! Here's how:

Use a dark, inky blue base (I mixed China Glaze Exotic Encounters, Zoya Song and a black creme). Then just use a detailing brush to create skinny oval shapes with one color. From there you just keep stacking more oval shapes with different colors! Take a brighter blue and make some horizontal-ish blob-line things (hahaha) under some of the lilies to make reflections. You can add some flowers by creating small "U" shapes then make tiny vertical lines inside of it. I then added some gold in the middle of the flowers (instead of the yellow we used in the class). Easy peasy!

You can find this set of 3 purple liner brushes, here! They are a set of size small, medium, and large in bristle length. For the brushes it's only $1.99 plus free shipping :]

Don't forget, you can also get a 10% discount using my discount code, LACJ61, and Born Pretty Store always offers FREE shipping!

Have a great weekend!
