RIMMEL LONDON: 60 Seconds Review (Sage All The Rage, Sunny Days, Magic Stardust, Blue Eyed Girl, Blue My Mind, Mintilicioius, I Lilac You)

Pin It Happy Thursday! I think? I'm breaking my Indie swatching fest to bring you these:

A few Rimmel London 60 Seconds polishes! I promised I'd show you these when I bought them in... December when I posted on Facebook and Instagram. Well, surgery happened and I forgot I swatched them. So, today I have those swatches for you!

I picked up 7 colors, 6 cremes and a glitter:

And on to the swatches! I'm going to give you a rundown on the colors and how many coats and then do an overall opinion at the end because they all have the same formula.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Sage All The Rage

Sage All the Rage is a sage green, khaki color. A light green with some serious grey mixed in. I don't have any colors like this so it was kinda of cool to swatch this one! This was 2 coats of Sage All the Rage.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Sunny Days

Sunny Days is a bright, school bus-colored, yellow. I always hold high hopes for yellows, if you use yellow polish often you know how hard it is to find one with good color AND a good formula. I did 3 coats, while this is a pretty yellow, it was still streaky and uneven afterwards :[ I'm not sure even a 4th would of helped.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Magic Stardust

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Magic Stardust

This is the only glitter polish that was in the display so I picked it up. Magic Stardust is mixture of silver holo (sorry I couldn't capture it!), lilac and aqua glitter. I did 1 coat over black. While this is a pretty glitter, I don't find it anything special... but that's just me haha

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Blue Eyed Girl

Blue Eyed Girl is a dark blue, that kind of leans on the teal side. It's NOT a navy, that's for sure... I grabbed it because it reminded me of China Glaze First Mate. It is a really pretty color, then again I'm a sucker for blues haha ;] I did 2 coats of Blue Eyed Girl for total coverage. PS: I really want to see someone with eyes this color now lmao

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Blue My Mind

Blue My Mind is a bright aqua blue. The one thing that really impressed me with this was that it didn't stain :] Anyways, I did 3 coats of Blue My Mind, there was some balding but not as bad as the yellow.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Mintilicious

Can't ever have enough of this shade can you!? Mintilicious isn't really a "mint" color, it's more of a Tiffany blue shade than a minty green. Still a gorgeous color! I did 2 coats of Mintilicious, but looking at the pictures now I think it could of used a 3rd.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds I Lilac You

Last but not least is I Lilac You. I originally picked up 6 and grabbed this one at the end because I have problems with pastel purples drying haha. This a true lilac color, very pretty a feminine. This was 2 coats.

Okay, my overall opinion on all of them. Across the board these had a pretty good application. As far as this 60 second dry time? I would have to say if not 60 seconds (PER COAT), maybe a little longer - but pretty darn close. All these swatches were done without top coat and are pretty shiny on their own. I'm not sure if I would purchase them again for the balding issue I had with a few. Most of you know I won't go past 3 coats for a polish. However, I am wanting to try some more of the colors because I think these would be great for traveling (they are .27oz - the same size as Julep)! They're cute, the colors are nice but I'm not entirely sold on this polish - is pretty much what that just said lol. They're OK. Just okay, not the best...

If you're looking for the display in Walmart, I took a picture here.

  2. Oooh they're smaller though? I'm doing a big Euro-trip this summer so I'm going to have to pack my nail supplies carefully... a few of these could be perfect! :O :) :) :)
