SHIMMER POLISH: Vicki, Stephanie & Linna

Pin It Hope everyone is having a great Friday afternoon. We dropped Scout off for doggy daycare... for free bath friday MWAHAHAHHA

Today I have the rest of the Shimmer Polishes swatched for you: Vicki, Stephanie and Linna. If you missed the other 2 I swatched, you can find them here.  Jump over for glitter bomb goodness!

Quick close up of the bottles:

Hmmm look pretty darn pretty if you ask me, although I think all Shimmer Polishes look pretty in the bottles haha.

Linna is a glitter bomb full of green, red, blue, gold, silver and fuchsia. I very seldom try to layer polishes over black (and white), I feel like that's a default color too often for blogs. This time I layered Linna over black and I kind of regret it because it made it look too Christmasy for my taste. I'm thinking next time a lime green polish haha I don't know! I did 2 coats of Linna over Sinful Colors Black on Black. This glitter covers really really well if you want a full on glitter bomb look. Dry time and application were great!

Vicki is a pink and silver glitter bomb with a few bars thrown in here and there. This also has as pink tinted base, which I wasn't expecting haha. You guys known I'm not a fan of pink polishes (but I'm cool with pink glitter haha I know, no sense!) so I tried to avoid layering over a pink :P I layered 2 coats of Shimmer Polish Vicki over China Glaze Elephant Walk. I was a little skeptical about the look of this combo at first but after awhile I decided it looked kinda cool? This is a really pretty sparkly glitter though! Maybe next time another base for this one too, whomp, whomp, whomp. This one also had a great application and dried in good time. If you're worried about the bar glitter, no worries here - no stick ups, they're short and flat.

BY THE WAYYYY if you buy Vicki (named after someone who survived breast cancer), part of the proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Research.

Saved the best for last, clearly haha. Or maybe I just think it's the best! Stephanie is filled with bright blue, navy, purple, gold and red glitter. I really like this mix of glitter and how bright the blue looks! I did 2 coats over China Glaze Man Hunt. This one also had great coverage, formula and dry time.

No complaints from me on these :]
