Hope y'all are having a good weekend! Today I have a few designs using the above nail art wheel from Born Pretty Store! I'd show you my wheel, but I spilled acetone on it lmao :( Check out my designs and review after the jump!

Here's a close up of the studs I received in my wheel:

Here's the first design I did:

For this manicure I used the black painted round metal studs, Orly Pretty Ugly (base), Sparkling Garbage (pointer), Be Brave (pinky) and stamped Winstonia plate W111 with Orly Beautiful Disaster (middle). I'm not the best at mismatchy designs haha

I was really happy with how this design turned out :] I used Lime Crime Pastelchio as the base, stamped Winstonia plate W112 and a black polish. After that, I stick some of the smaller round studs on top of random dots!

I was going to do another design this morning but my stomach is currently in Lacey-hating mode. :( But, I did another design back in May, which you can check out here!

Expect to see random nail art done with these studs. They're so much fun! I really love how flat these lay on the nail. Nail art with metal studs are a new thing to me, so I was a little worried. I applied them using an older bottle of Seche Vite, which its thicker and sticky, I usually have one around to apply things like this to my nail. I topped the manicure with a coat of Seche Vite. I can typically get 3+ days of wear before studs start getting knocked off. I suggest adding an extra coat of top coat every few days to make them last longer :)

If you're interested in picking up some of these studs you can get a 10% discount by using my code :]

Hope you enjoyed those designs!

  1. This kit looks like so much fun! I almost grabbed some studs last time I was shopping BPS but decided against it - bad idea! ):

  2. I just bought a nail stud wheel over the weekend. It will be my first time trying them out so I'm a little nervous!
