PACIFICA: Abalone

Pacifica Abalone

Hey friends! A little while ago I reviewed a polish by Pacifica. Shortly after I posted the review, they offered me to review another polish from them! I was super stoked because the 1st polish was kinda sheer. I wouldn't wear sheer polishes alone so it didn't give me a chance to test the wear. So today, I have a duochrome polish named Abalone to share after the jump!

Pacifica's Abalone is a blue-grey polish with duochrome flashes of purple. In the product listing, I was expecting more of a dusty blue with purple flashes. I didn't really like this polish when I put it on... but it's growing on me LOL. I love how it looks different in various light. Sadly, I have to swatch today... but Abalone has been on my nails (with base coat and top coat) for 2-3 days now and I have very minimal tip wear :] I know some of you were curious about the wear!

I did 2 coats of Abalone. I was happy with that, I was expecting 3. Application was smooth and easy to work with. Dry time was good and gave me no issues.

I layered Unicorn Horn over Abalone. As I stated in my first post - "transform some of your favorite colors into softer versions of themselves", you can really see that in effect here over Abalone. I liked it over Abalone because it took away some of the streaks and gave a more even look.
