ONE LOVE LACQUERS: Mermaid Lagoon

Pin It I have a few new indies I'm going to show you over the next few days, here's one!

One Love Lacquers Mermaid Lagoon

Today I'm reviewing a polish by One Love Lacquers called Mermaid Lagoon from her Peter Pan inspired collection! Before we jump over for review and swatch goodness, can we take a moment and admire how freakin' cute her mini bottle and label is?! Haha ok, moment over! Let's go!

Here's a bottle shot with my fancy dancy new macro lens!

Itty bitty baby squares! How cute :]

Layered over a blue polish I think Mermaid Lagoon looks very ocean like! Don't you think? This polish is made up of tiny blue squares and holo blue squares, hot pink hex and dark purple hex (that looks black at some angles). In the description she describes the glitters as navy instead of purple, but I totally see purple and not blue haha. All this is in a clear base making it easy to layer over any color you'd like.

I chose China Glaze For Audrey to layer over, to bring out the blues in the polish. (Not sure why in the macro it looks so washed out haha) I did 3 coats of Mermaid Lagoon. This polish had a smooth application, good amount of glitter, easy to work with and good dry time. No complaints from me with this one!

I think this polish is a pretty good representation of Mermaid Lagoon in Peter Pan!
