So, if you follow me on Facebook haha you know my adventure about finding these polishes! Also, if you haven't heard Hard Candy is getting rid of their old bottles and introducing a slew of new colors - you can read the press release here. Anyways! I picked of 4 of the ones I wanted the most! Wellll, errrr, I wanted 3 and one just happened to come home with me ;] Swatch and review after the jump!

It's really nice to see some mainstream brands adapt some indie polish looks, like these new Hard Candy polishes and the new Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces Collection by China Glaze. I know some indie makers might not be too happy with it, but I see it as brands being more in tune to what their customers like/want! Which is great, that's how it should be! And it's about damn time!

(I'd also like to take the time and note here, if you find these polishes under different names... not sure if it's ALL stores or just my wacky one... but, a LOT of the polishes were mislabeled. I looked like a nut digging through the display trying to find the polishes with the correct labels on them haha)

This is the one that jumped into my hands, totally wasn't planning on buying it haha. I know we've seen a crazy number of glitter top coats... but the colors in this really jumped at me, especially the WHITE matte glitter! In Party Central you will find various sizes of hex in blue, fuchsia, gold, orange, green and white. Totally screams party to me. I can't wait to jelly sandwich this sucker!

I did 2 coats over Barielle Positive ZEN-ergy, I was trying to let all the colors pop out and I think this worked out well without the default black polish. It had a smooth application and the glitter went on great! Dried in great time, too. No complaints from me on this one :]

Hard Candy Cocoa Smore

I love Cocoa Smore! Cocoa Smore is taupe colored base with silver and black hex. I love how the shade is a great neutral color with a little bit of zing to it with the black and silver glitter. I was kind of worried I wouldn't like this as much as I did in the bottle, but in the end I enjoyed the look.

I did 2 coats of Cocoa Smore. The application was smooth and it dried pretty quickly. However, out of all the Candy Sprinkles Collection - this one was the fastest drying. Not sure why! But I'll take it.

Hard Candy Gummy Green

This one is my favorite out of the ones I purchased. But, I'm a sucker for minty green colors haha. Gummy Green is a minty green base with black and silver glitters. I think this satisfies my craving for one of the Illamasqua Speckled polishes (well, almost hahah).

I did 3 coats of Gummy Green. This also had a very smooth application. Unlike Cocoa Smore, this one is a little bit longer on the dry time. If you're going to layer up to 3 coats, I'd recommend waiting a little bit before applying each coat. If you keep that in mind it should give you no issues :]

Hard Candy Jelly Bean Blue

Jelly Bean Blue is a light blue base with black and blue glitter. I'm a sucker for light blues, and I'm loving the black glitter in this! This totally reminds me of Zoya Blu/Essie Borrowed and Blue. They would make good undies for this polish!

I did 3 coats of Jelly Bean Blue. The formula was just like Gummy Green, not so much Cocoa Smore. It was smooth and dried well when you kept time in mind. I was kind of shocked because I usually have a difficult time with lighter blues.

Overall I really enjoyed these polishes. I didn't see/have any major issues that would prevent me from purchasing more of these Hard Candy polishes! The one thing I was kinda annoyed with was the bottle. I DO love the bottle size and shape. I think they're super nice looking, an upgrade from the old bottles! But, the mouth of the bottle is kind of large and there's not really a lip inside... so, when you pull out the brush and where you would normally "wipe" some of the polish off, on the inside of the neck of the bottle, you're hitting the polish in the bottle at the same time. Maybe it's just me and how I polish! But there really isn't much differentiation between the bottle and the neck of the bottle.

These are exclusive polishes to Walmart. Hard Candy said they would be in all Walmart stores within US and Canada sometime this week. If you can't find them either A) Keep looking or B) make some phone calls before you go haha. If all else fails, they said they WILL HAVE THEM on the Walmart website. YAY! If you're going to purchase from Walmart.com don't forget Ebates and Befrugal cash back options under my "Save Money" tab :] I'd keep up with the Hard Candy Facebook if you're looking for more information, they seem to keep everyone up to date pretty well!
