Forget Me Not Friday - NUBAR: Reclaim

The elusive Nubar Reclaim

Once upon a time Nubar released a polish called Reclaim. Sadly, when Lacey discovered it... She learned it was released in 2009 and was later discontinued (naturally...). DUN DUN DUN. After browsing blog sales for a year-ish and giving up on and off, she remembered eBay existed! So she searched eBay for awhile and a bottle never surfaced. One day, she got the bright idea, "set up a listing notification"! A few months later, a $13 bottle of Nubar Reclaim at "By It Now" surfaced. HUZZAH! Reclaim was finally Lacey's! She was blessed with the holographic green polish awesomeness in Fall of 2014 and just remembered she owned it. Way to go, Lacey, way to go.

Nubar Reclaim was released in 2009 as part of their Going Green Collection (aka my dream collection), I wasn't into polish at that time so I missed out. Reclaim is a gorgeous grassy green with an amazing holographic effect. Literally, perfection. The holographic effect is the most gorgeous and strong linear holo and it's BFF is the sun. Holy moly.

I did 3 coats of Reclaim. The application was smooth and easy to work with. The polish build up to opacity very well. No issues with dry time, it dried quickly between coats. I didn't even need to wait long or apply a top coat to force a quicker dry time to stamp over it :] (See below)

Zoya Mira and Cheeky Jumbo Place C stamped over Nubar Reclaim

I didn't want gold/silver/black/white, so I grabbed Zoya Mira - a purple. The stamp is from Cheeky Jumbo Plate C. I think it was a fun mix of colors without being too over the top. What I really liked about this was in the sun, the mani actually kind of looked 3D due to the holo effect! I don't know if you can tell here, but it was quite trippy in person lmao.

So there you have it, one of my ultimate lemmings! I don't have many Nubar products, only Reclaim and the black and white polka dot polishes. Any Nubar polishes I MUST have? If you're searching for Reclaim, eBay is what I recommend. If you see it on there or a blog sale - move fast! Haha Hope you enjoyed this polish. I'm happy I could finally share it with you :]
