PURE ICE: New Year, New Hue Collection Part II [Rosy Glow, Blue Hue, & Purple Haze]

Pure Ice (L->R) Rosy Glow, Blue Hue, and Purple Haze

Today I have the 3 polishes that I have left to review for Pure Ice's New Year New Hue Collection. These are some jelly polishes packed with iridescent glitter! (Missed Part I, click here!)I know when I posted the collection on IG a lot of you were interested in these. So, no more wasting time - check 'em out after the jump!

Pure Ice Rosy Glow (over Zoya Micky, alone on ring finger)

Rosy Glow is a "pink glitter hint". IDK about that description they gave LOL but it's a sheer medium pink jelly with iridescent glitter. Personally it's a little too sheer on its own for me, but with shorter nails I could dig it. I layered it over Zoya Micky, which matched perfectly :]

I did 3 coats of Rosy Glow on my ring finger. The rest of my nails I did 1 coat of Rosy Glow over Zoya Mickey. I had no issues with application, it wasn't to thin or to thick to work with. Dry time gave me no problem either :]

Pure Ice Blue Hue (over Orly Shockwave, alone on ring finger)

Blue Hue is a "blue glitter hint". Again with that description LOL. It's a light blue jelly with iridescent glitter throughout. From the bottle, I thought the blue would be a little darker but it's not haha. I prefer this one layered over a color. I layered it over Orly Shockwave which really accented the iridescent glittery fun-ness!

I did 3 coats of Blue Hue alone on my ring finger. The rest of my nails I layered 1 coat of Blue Hue over Orly Shockwave. Again, no issues with application, smooth and easy to work with. Dry time was great and provided no problems.

Pure Ice Purple Haze (over Pure Ice Last Chance, alone on ring finger)

Pure Ice Purple Haze (alone on ring finger)

I think this one is my favorite. Purple Haze is a .... you guessed it - "purple glitter hint". It's a light purple, lavender-ish, jelly. I don't mind this one on it's own. But I layered it over Pure Ice Last Chance and I'm really liking that combo, too!

I did 3 coats of Purple Haze by itself on my ring finger. The rest of my nails are Pure Ice Last Chance with 1 coat of Purple Haze. Application was, once again, easy to work with and gave me no issues. Dry time was without problems.

Although these are a little on the sheer side, and kind of remind me of play nail polishes I had as a kid LOL, I thought they were fun and versatile. If you missed Part I, you can find them here! I thought this was a fun collection of colors and finishes. Hopefully you can find them if you're searchin' :]
