Comic Book Nails

Pin It Sooooo I decided to do some nail art today!

I've seen this design floating around the interwebs for the past month or so. When I got my Cheeky summer plates, I was excited to use the comic inspired stamps! More pictures, color and plate info after the jump! :]

I figured some nail art is a great breath of fresh air between swatches, plus it's always fun to practice! :] I also wanted to do some nail art to announce something special I plan on doing! If you like me on Facebook, you probably already know. Since stamping was the most requested manicure when I asked for nail art suggestions and I love practicing stamping...In November (only because I'm going to Texas for a bit in October), I'm going to introduce Stamping Sunday! :]  So, every Sunday from November on I will have manicures featuring stamping nail art!

Now onto today's semi stamped mani! Here are the colors and supplies I used:

- Zoya Arizona, Zoya Robyn, Zoya Sooki, Essie Mojito Madness, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Black on Black (my go to back and white!)
- Striping brush
- Tiny dotting tool

And here's the plate I used:

Cheeky CH47

I hard a hard time which stamps to use for my nails! These are so cute! Cheeky did an awesome job choosing designs for their summer plates!

Here are some more pictures of the manicure, enjoy!

Please forgive the little smudge on the side of my middle finger (if you noticed, if not YAY!), Zoya Robyn was giving me a headache for some reason! I tried to make this as simple as possible with pretty simple colors. Just wondering, does anyone hate dotting as much as I do? Haha, This time I didn't do so bad! I'd rather do a million tribal freehanded manicures than 1 dot manicure. True story.

Hope you liked this manicure! I also hope you're super stoked for Stamping Sunday like I am! Oh! If you haven't checked out my giveaway, you should!

Have a great Sunday :]
PS: please bare with me for the time being! I'm trying out new photograph set ups, you might notice different set ups in different posts. I apologize for the lack of consistency but there's no change in the quality!
