DANDY NAILS: Come Out & Play, RAINBOW HONEY: Frozen Flame

Pin It Today I have for you ladies some Etsy polishes I got in the mail yesterday!

Pictures and reviews after the jump!

I picked up Frozen Flame last week when they re-opened their shop. It was really the only one that screamed AWESOME to me. Plus, I'm a sucker for bar glitter!

How cute is the little box it comes in?? It also came with application and removal instructions, nothing out of the ordinary though. It's kind of cool to see them pay attention to these details though! They even put the ingredients on the back of the box:

I think the packaging is cool, but for me it's just going to get thrown away :-\ haha

Here are some swatches for ya guys! No top coats on these.

1 coat of Frozen Flame over Black

I just LOVE how this pops over black! Frozen Flame has silver bar glitter, and orange, light blue, and royal blue glitter. There is also some iridescent- like glitter but, I didn't see it until I swatched it over yellow (picture a few pictures down). I really do enjoy the colors of glitter! Especially the royal blue.

Look how sparkly!

And here it is over Zoya Pippa!

1 coat of Frozen Flame over 2 coats of Zoya Pippa

Look how Pippa totally makes it look like a different polish! I wanted to see what it looked like over something other than a darker color. It's pretty cool looking, very confetti-like versus flame-like.

Then of course I had to matte Frozen Flame after matting Toxic Seaweed the other day lol:

Frozen Flame with Matte-ly in Love by Hard Candy

WOW! I love this! So freaking cool. Totally transforms this glitter top coat, in an awesome way of course! Overall I was very happy I went with my gut instinct and purchased Frozen Flame. It isn't like anything I have in my collection and I'm happy to welcome it! I'm SO SO in love with the glitter mix! The royal blue and light blue really are my favorite parts :]

As for application and formula it was pretty good! I'd let it dry for a few minutes though to avoid smudging the top coat and the color base coat you use. I was impressed with the glitter ratio per coat, I mean look at my swatches, that's one coat!

Next up is another Etsy polish I purchased. Dandy Nails Come Out and Play:

Dandy Nails Come Out and Play: 3 coats with Seche Vite (indirect sunlight)

Here's me being Instagram fancy haha (@LACERZ) but it REALLY is a good picture of how jelly/squishy this polish is and the magenta purple-ish color. I'm SO SO SOSOSOSOSOOSSOO SO in love with this polish. Like so in love that it's honestly on my top favorite polishes list of all time.

Here's a swatch:

Dandy Nails Come Out and Play, 3 coats no top coat.

Gosh I so love this polish! It's a jelly sandwich without having to do the work! Along with bar glitter, black and white glitters are my favorites at the moment. And Come Out and Play has TONS of white glitter!

I was impressed that polish dried pretty fast and I had no issues with application. I do suggest mixing after receiving in the mail, all the glitter tends to settle to one side of the bottle in shipping, no big deal though. It looks pretty matte on its own and when I added Seche Vite, it totally gave it a gorgeous shine that this polish needed! It's just a stunning polish and I love it SO much!

Oh and husband told me to let you ladies know that this reminds him of speckled stoneware haha, you know? Like those colored dutch ovens with white specks? Hahaha I kinda see it now! So silly!

You can buy Frozen Flame on Rainbow Honey's Etsy Shop, here. Their polishes go for $10/bottle with $4.95 for priority shipping, however you can ask for first class shipping to save $2.50 (That's what I did, gotta save pennies for more polish!). Currently as of 4/7 Frozen Flame is in stock.

You can find Dandy Nails here on Etsy. Her polishes go for $7.50-$8.50 with shipping at $3.50. Currently (4/7) Come Out and Play is out of stock but she says on her shop note that she's planning on restocking soon! You can also visit Sandy's blog, here.

Hope ya'll have a great weekend and a Happy Easter (if you celebrate!)

Until next time,
Lacey
