COLOR CLUB [Birchbox] Disco Nap

Pin It Hello, hello! Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a polish I got in my Birchbox on Saturday! Thankfully Birchbox redeemed itself from my horrible box last month haha. I was pleased to find Color Club Disco Nap and some other goodies inside! [If you're looking to subscribe to Birchbox's monthly sample service, you can do so here! When you sign up you should get an email in a week or so about joining :) ]

Jump over for some swatches and stamping!

After last months Birchbox (in my opinion) fail, I was super stoked to find a polish in my box this month! This was my 3rd month subscribed, Birchbox kind of set itself up for high expectations with my box in Feb. when I got a full size Essie and Tart lip thingie (I do polish guys, not makeup lmao...). As much as I hate mini polishes and they make me twitch, I'm okay with this one ;]

SWATCHESSSSSSSSSSSSSS AHOYYYYY! (what?)

Oh Color Club, why don't I own more of you? I think I was turned away from Color Club after I got the Beyond the Mistletoe Collection, I didn't love it as much as I thought *sigh* This is a suppppper pretty gold! And nothing says disco like gold! (PS: what's a disco nap???) I only have one other gold in my collection (MAC Cosmetics Immortal Gold) and it is a darker, more brownish gold. This one is wayyyyy different than that gold polish. Disco Nap is a shimmery, foily, very yellowish, gold. It is SO sparkly and so awesome to the point I'm going to need a bigger bottle...

I really liked that you couldn't see any brush strokes after this polish dried. It went on in a super smooth 2 coats.

So I got le bored and I had my Essie School of Hard Rocks sitting out from the blog post yesterday and decided they would make for a happy marriage, so I stamped ;]

I don't even mind the fact that there are some spots of polish missing in the snake skin because it looks so freaking awesome! ;]

As far as I know I've only seen Disco Nap for purchase on Birchbox, here for $8/bottle. If anyone knows of anywhere cheaper I/we can find it, lemme know please! :]

Until tomorrow,
Lacey

PS: Don't forget to check out my current giveaway! Ends Friday!

  1. huh, I got the nail polish too, and didn't really like it much. It's still on, but that's only because I was lazy yesterday and didn't take it off lol.

    1. Haha, I love minis! Best way to get tons and tons of polishes without breaking the bank. Some shades *have* to be bought in full size, though.

  8. A disco nap is when you know you're going to stay out late partying, so you take a lil' nap first. :)
