Nail Art Week, Day "#5": The Intricate Manicure

Pin It Welcome back, folks! Hope you enjoyed the mini break from Nail Art Week and took in those glorious neons!

I'm on my own personal quest to become better at nail art. And in order to become better, I need practice! Since I have no one to practice on, I have to practice on myself. SOOOO this week, I am replicating a bunch of designs I saw online

Today is actually a manicure I did last night. Why? bored outta my mind I guess since I took 3 hours out of my life to do this haha!

What could this 3 hour manicure with these pretty colors be?!?!? Take a jump to find out!

Tribal nail art manicure, left hand
Triiiiballllll! I love me some tribal manis! I actually saw these on Etsy last week here, I don't do acrylics though so I gave it a shot on my own nails! I have a hard time coming up with tribal-esque designs on my own haha but I really like how it turned out! :]

I used all Zoya polishes, well except the black, I used Sinful Colors Black on Black, Snow Me White, Why Not and Zoya Pippa and Trixe. All freehanded using a striping brush and a dotting tool.

I needed a manicure for this weekend for a Navy, going away party - thingy husband is taking me to. I figured I'd make my nails pretty so if there is friend potential at least I have a conversation piece? Hahaha listen to me!

But yeah... This took 3 hours! So, here's my right hand!

Tribal nail art manicure, right hand
My right hand came out pretty well! Minus the large blue gap on my ring finger bahaha, oh well! Good enough for me! Sorry I don't have a tutorial for this... I didn't really do anything special besides copy the lines and dots she made on her manicure :]

Whattya think?!? Do you like tribal print nails, yay or nay?

Until next time,
Lacey

PS: Even though MY giveaway is over, under the Current Giveaway tab I've hooked you guys up with some links to other giveaways!
